Is Online Learning for me?
It takes a very dedicated, self-driven type of student to be successful on learning online. If you are considering enrolling in an online course, or if you have already enrolled in an online course, you should strongly consider the following questions:
Do I have access to a computer with an internet connection?
Do I have 7-9 hours per week to spend on this course?
Do I consider myelf to be a "self-motivator"?
Am I a good reader and I enjoy learning by reading?
Do I enjoy working independently and seldom need reassurance that I am doing this correctly?
Do I realize that the workload of an online course equals (and often greater than) that of a traditional on-site course?
Am I willing to take responsibility for getting whatever help I may need with this course by contacting an instructor?
Am I willing to communicate with my instructor through electronic media (email, discussion boards, etc.)?
Can I meet deadlines?
Do I want to learn?
If you answered "No" to any of these questions, it is strongly recommended that you contact the NEO Admissions Office and enroll in a traditional face-to-face course, rather than an online course.
If you answered "Yes" to ALL of the following question, then please click the proceed link below.
