This site is dedicated to familiarizing Users with the Web CT environment. This orientation will cover the basics of WebCT. However, because Web CT is completely customizable based on the instructor's wishes, the appearance of the sample course and some of the tools used in a course may differ. Students are strongly encouraged to contact their instructor should they encounter anything in their online course with which they are not familiar and if it is not covered in this orientation.
Please note that portions of this orientation are available in Macromedia Flash and MS Word. Please click here to download Macromedia Flash, if you do not already have it installed on your computer. Please click here to install MS Word Viewer 2003 , if you do not have Microsoft Word (XP or 2003) already installed on your computer. If you do have a full version of MS Word (XP or 2003) you will not need the Word Viewer 2003.
Because the Flash-based demonstartions contain audio, please ensure that your audio levels are appropriate. If you are accessing the flash-based demos on a public computer, you might want to use headphones.
